thursday tempo...

I only did 4, because my stomach was feeling funny, and I didn't really have time. I got out there a little late.

It was steamy, but I averaged 8:14 for the 4 miles.

Still haven't missed...

Got through the 14 last Friday with flying colors. I think my time was 2:10:41 or something like that.

Today's speedwork was a different story. I waited too long to go out, and due to the extra heat plus the steam from the recent rain, I was a mess by the fifth interval. I died on the last hill on Taliluna and absolutely stumbled into a walk/run. The first four were in the proper window.

I've got to make myself get out early in the morning while these days are still warm. It's not fall yet.

I think we're doing pretty well to not have missed any runs as of yet. But then again, we are only doing 3 per week. If we can't get those done, we shouldn't be training for a marathon...

1200s suck...

all were in the 5:15-5:29 range...

14 or 15?

Well, the run was beautiful in park, but a run that was much closer to 15 than 14. I counted a total of 31 deer, which helped me focus on something else, while running for 2:17:32. I felt very fast in the beginning...and very good. But between taking a few wrong turns and pulling out my map every new intersection, i'd pretty much say that I would be a great candidate for Amazing Race.
