So I joined this blog...

What's up everyone? That's right myself and the NASAT have begun a blog to describe the 'trials and tribulations' of training for a marathon. This just in: It's the first week of training and I think I have a stress fracture. Splendid.

Tomorrow, tomorrow...I love ya, tomorrow...

10 miles @ 9:15-9:30 is the goal. We'll be doing it on the Alcoa/Maryville Greenway. Can we make it? Will Jeremiah wake up on time? Will his leg fall off mid-run?

Thursday tempo.

GOAL: 3 miles @ 8:15-8:20
ACTUAL: 3 miles @ 8:09

I did the first two too quickly, and slowed down on the third. Not because I had to, but because I felt like I should. I didn't want to be too far off the mark.

Did we really walk that far?

Katie and I walked from home to Marble Slab Tuesday evening.

The final tally?
4.62 miles.

And that's after doing speedwork after getting home from work. Needless to say, my legs were a little tired.

That's why I have done nothing today, besides the fact that I'm a little congested in the head.

Not "sick in the head." I said "congested in the head."

Well, maybe a little bit sick in the head...
